Cyberpunk Isometric RPG ‘Gamedec’ To Be Released on PS5

Developer Anshar Studios have announced their single-player cyberpunk isometric RPG Gamedec is headed to the PlayStation 5.

We are excited Gamedec has a chance to hit the major league. The topic of a potential Gamedec release on PlayStation has been floating around since the crowdfunding campaign back in 2020. The partnership with Perp Games allows us to reach out to the new gamers, who surely will appreciate the extensive branching path the game has. We are aware the roster of PlayStation titles also shows, people are demanding games with choices and consequences. We hope you will feel the weight of the decisions faced by the detectives in the 22nd Century.”

Jakub Kwinta – Head of Publishing, Anshar Publishing

The announcement coincides with a new ‘Coming Soon’ to PS5 trailer. Watch it below.

About the game

Gamedec is a narrative-focused, non-combat isometric RPG.

Your goal is to hunt down the criminals of virtual worlds – rich and spoiled businesspeople, corporations with plans to rewrite history. As the story progresses, your hero adapts as well, as does the world in which you live. Decisions are important and come with consequences. Just like in “real” life, the consequences of your choices can be immediate, long-term, or stay hidden, surfacing only when you least expect them.

At the time of this article it holds a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, a 72% Top Critic Average on Open Critic, and a 72/100 metascore on Metacritic.

The game was released on PC September 17, 2021 and on the Nintendo Switch July 1, 2022.

PS5 Release info

Gamedec will be released on PS5 sometime early in 2023. Exact date is TBA.

You can wishlist the game right now on the PlayStation Store.
