Publisher Bandai Namco and developer ILCA have announced a demo version of One Piece Odyssey will become available for PS4 and PS5 players as of January 10, 2023 – 3 days before the game’s official release.
About the game
The famed pirate, Monkey.D.Luffy, better known as Straw Hat Luffy, and his Straw Hat Crew, are sailing across the New World in search of the next island and the next adventure that awaits them. But during their voyage they are caught in a storm and shipwrecked. They find themselves washed up on a lush tropical island surrounded by constantly raging storms… Separated from his crew, Luffy sets off on a grand, new adventure to find his friends and escape the island! Dangerous new enemies, terrifying forces of nature, and more await them!
Produced with direct involvement from Eiichiro Oda (the author of One Piece), One Piece Odyssey is a 25th Anniversary project that combines classic staples of the JRPG genre with unique elements of the hugely popular manga and anime series One Piece.

The Straw Hat Crew’s adventure on Waford will take them on a journey through their memories of these four unforgettable One Piece Arcs.
- Help Vivi save the country of Alabasta from a civil war orchestrated by Crocodile and Baroque Works.
- Explore a beautiful metropolitan city and fight to rescue your crewmates from CP9 in Water Seven.

The demo arrives on PS4/5 on January 10, 2023.
Japanese players will gain access to the full game on January 12, 2023.
