Developer Crystal Dynamics has added Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. The Winter Soldier, as a new playable hero in Marvel’s Avengers.
James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. His first appearance was in Captain America Comics #1 where he appeared as a sidekick to Captain America. He is perhaps most well known thanks to Sebastian Stan’s portrayal of the character in the Marvel cinematic universe.
In the Marvel’s Avengers version, he is voiced by Scott Porter, known for voicing Star-Lord in Marvel Future Revolution as well as Heimdall in God of War: Ragnarok.
The Winter Soldier will be armed with a shotgun and grenade launcher, among other weaponry, that enables a ranged playstyle. His Hero Card will include new outfits and a consumable item to unlock as you level up.

AIM’S Cloning Labs Update
Alongside the release of The Winter Soldier the game has also received the long awaited Cloning Labs update, something the developers teased way back when the game was first released:
New Omega-Level Threat: AIM’s Cloning Lab
MODOK is alive, and he’s planning his next move from AIM’s Cloning Lab in the Utah Badlands. Assemble your Strike Team for this endgame-level challenge, which requires your Heroes to be at Power Level 175 or higher to start and ends with a new boss fight against the mad scientist himself. You’ll need to bring your A-game… MODOK’s learned some new tricks since you defeated him in the Reassemble campaign!
Patch Notes v2.7
The Power Level cap has also been increased from 175 to 185. Players will need to level up using the new gear that will drop as rewarded for completing the Cloning Labs.
