‘Elden Ring’ Gets Free PVP Colosseum DLC Update, New Hairstyles

  • News

From Software has released a new and free Elden Ring update for dedicated PVP players. The update, which introduces three Colosseums, allows players to engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls, and team fights.

Three Colosseums have been opened – one in Limgrave, one in Leyndell, and a third in Caelid. All Colosseums were previously in the game but were closed off to players – until now.

Each Colosseum offers different multiplayer modes as follows:

The Limgrave Colosseum

The Limgrave Colosseum modes are “United Combat” and “Combat Ordeal”.

In United Combat, players are divided into two teams and fight alongside a timer. Defeated players respawn. Each death and respawn grants points to the adversaries. Victory is achieved by having the highest points score at the end of the timer.

The Combat Ordeal mode is free-for-all. Players can die and respawn over and over until the timer hits zero, after which the player with the most points wins. This is basically Elden Ring deathmatch.

The Leyndell Colosseum

The Leyndell Colosseum, known as The Royal Colosseum, features a Duel Mode. In Duel Mode, two players face off in a duel to the death. There are no respawns. Winner takes all.

The Caelid Colosseum

The Caelid Colosseum has all the modes of the Limgrave and Leyndall Colosseums as well as the additional ability for players to summon Spirt Ashes to fight alongside them.

How to Find and Access Each Colosseum

All Colosseums can be accessed from a newly added statue of Marika found in Roundtable Hold. However, to access each Colosseum you must first have found the Colosseum in the Lands Between. For example, if the only Colosseum you have found in-game is the one in Limgrave, then that will be the only one you can access from Roundtable Hold until you find the others.
